San Juan - Alicante
Located in the city of Alicante this huge beach offers 3km of white crystal-clear sand. It is bordered by a beautiful cosmopolitan promenade aligned with many restaurants and bars. Indulge yourself in traditional Tapas or sample gastronomic delights for the first time whilst basking in the sun on this gem of a city beach.
The beach is equipped with many facilities including sports, here you can enjoy a game of tennis, beach volley, mini soccer and the kids are well catered for too!
Calpe Playa Levante – Calpe
One of the most popular beaches in Calpe, this beach has a large stretch of sand with accessible disabled ramps and is enclosed by a range of eateries & entertainment, including: restaurants, shops and ice cream parlours.
Just one of the many Blue Flag beautiful beaches Calpe has to offer. With clear blue sea that extends over 950m its beach holidays paradise. Catering for children and adults alike this beach offers a family atmosphere and tranquillity at the same time.
Playa El Palmar - Cadiz
Considered one of the most untouched areas of the province of Cadiz, Playa El Palmar is one of the best beaches to visit in Spain. Big and beautiful, it is a water sports enthusiast heaven and offers extraordinary conditions for surfing, bodyboarding and numerous adventure sports.
Its clean and shallow waters also make it a hit with families with young children.
La Granadella - Javea
This tiny beach located in the north of Costa Blanca Top beach has twice previous been voted Spain’s best beach. Just 220 metres wide it’s set in a picturesque horse-shoe bay with clear turquoise waters surrounded by jagged cliffs and pine trees. Despite being a shingle beach, its clear waters help it to remain a very popular spot with sunbathers, scuba divers and snorkellers.
To avoid disappointment, get there early to secure a space!
El Portet - Moraira
This lovely beach is set within a rocky cove and is sheltered by rocks with sparkling clear blue waters. It is very popular with swimmers and sports enthusiasts and equally with sun bathers as if offers wonderful views of Ifach de Calpe rock jutting out to sea.
The beach is just 350 metres long and gets very busy in summer with its lovely promenade offering an array of restaurants and bars making it very popular with families.
Guadamar del Segura - Alicante
One of the finest beaches south of Alicante is found at Guardamar, with a selection of eight outstanding beaches you are really spoilt for choice! They are all famously long, with beautiful sand and a backdrop of a fragrant pine forest. Known for their waves these beaches attract many surfers.
The forest provides a colourful windbreak to protect the town as well as being a natural haven for walkers and families. The Guardamar coast boasts a blend of secluded coves for private bathing or snorkelling as well as urban beaches.
Don’t forget it’s also home to a nudist beaches ‘Los Tusales beach’ it sits on the northern side of the river Segura close to the Spanish town of La Marina.
La Zenia Beach – Torrevieja
This beach also known as ‘la Cala Bosque de Orihuela’ and is located in a quiet residential area close to Torrevieja. It is 360 metres long and 115 wide and offers a variety of services. This Blue flag sandy beach offers free parking and is popular with families and sports enthusiasts. There is a children’s play area, beach volley facilities, a restaurant and beach bar.
It is a very clean and maintained beach and gets especially busy in the Summer with locals and tourists
Playa La Caleta – Villajoyosa
The beach of La Caleta also known as ‘Cala Higuera’ is a little hidden south of the municipality of Villajoyosa in the province of Alicante and is a prominent beach within the Costa Blanca .
La Caleta is a small cove that has a length of 160 meters and an average width of 30 meters. The composition of its sand is gravel and stone with the absence of sand and its transparent and clean waters make it a good beach for scuba diving.
It is an ideal place if we want to enjoy the natural landscape and as it is a cove made of gravel and stones it is not frequented by many people therefore a perfect beach for tranquillity and relaxation.
La Caleta – Cabo Roig
This is a semi-urban beach located on the Orihuela Costa. With a stretch of golden sand 337m in length and 43 m wide, this Blue flag beach is set in a picturesque place. Here you will find a Marina and yacht club making this very popular for sailing and windsurfing.
For those live music fans this is the beach for you, many bands play here throughout the year. This beach has something for everyone, but get there early as there is no allocated parking just street parking available.
